Richards Bay Air Carriers
Regular view from our training aircraft
Richards Bay Air Carriers Flight Training School, (RBAC), specializes in Foreign License Validations. We aim to make your validation as seamless as possible. We have been operating our flight training school since the late 70's.
We are co-located with Alto Aero Engineering, our AMO (Aircraft Maintenance Organization), which means our students get to see the insides of aircraft, which can assist in understanding aircraft structure, and with the PPL Aircraft General exam. We are situated at Richards Bay Airport, which has a long tar runway and ATC, (Air Traffic Control), all day during the week, and certain hours on weekends, so students can experience both the Controlled and Uncontrolled flying environments.
Our flight training air space is very close to the airfield, so we do not waste valuable training time, (or money),commuting.
Although the airfield can get busy at times, we are the only Flight Training School in Richards Bay. This means you will not be competing with other flight schools for air space during your training.
Accommodation and/or transport can be easily arranged at favourable rates for pilots and student pilots.
Besides all this, we are "spitting distance" from really great areas in an arc all around us, like the Big 5 at Hluhluwe-uMfolozi National Game Park; hippo, crocks, whales and turtles at St Lucia Wetlands; diving and snorkeling in pristine waters at Sodwana Bay; partying at the Prawn Shack whilst enjoying a seafood taste sensation; the delights of Durban from urban to the sun-splashed uShaka Water Park; the Eshowe Cultural Experience among semi-naked Zulu maidens and traditional beer at Shakaland; and a sense of reverence and peace on the Dlinza Forest Boardwalk; to name but a few.
