Eagle Flight Academy

(Hartswater, North West Province)
Eagle Flight academy is situated in the Northern Cape with uncluttered airspace, this means that a student can get airborne within 6 min after start-up. Absolutely no hold-up before take-off.
Weather conditions are excellent with more than 330 days of clear skies per year.
EFA have highly qualified Flight Training Instructors on base who will provide the student with a very high standard of Flight Training as well as ground school instruction.
If a student needs extra ground school or doesn’t understand some of the work, the instructor is more than willing to help him after hours, because its our instructors passion to teach others up to their own standard.
No student needs any transport as everything is within walking distance, although transport will be provided once a week to town which is 25 km from base.
Eagle Flight Academy is a SACAA approved flight academy CAA0123.
EFA specializes in:
a) National Pilots Training
b) Private Pilot Training
c) Commercial Pilot Training

a) 1 × 1 Bed Chalet
b) 3 × 2 Bed chalet
c) 1 × 3 Bed chalet.
d) 1 x 12 Bed chalet.
Each chalet has its own small kitchenette (although 3 meals are provided), a private bathroom, DSTV and an air conditioner. Accommodation is less than 1 min walk from the academy. Accommodation includes three meals per day and laundry.
With EFA situated in the Northern Cape, it makes it so much easier to learn how to fly , but is also not too far from busy controlled aerodromes to build experience for students. For example Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Pilansberg, Mafikeng and Lanseria.
EFA uses a very well maintained fleet of aircraft.
Our Training Fleet consist of 2 Cessna 172’s; PA28-140; Mooney M20 and a Piper Aztec.
We also have an approved Flight Simulator (FNPT1).
The PPL Course takes about 3 months and the CPL takes about 18 months.
You are more than welcome to visit us at the academy, come see our facilities and come for an Introduction flight.
